Service terms
Terms of Use
The operating rules for using Keelbase Signal publications, APIs, and x402-paid data products.
Important
These MVP terms establish a conservative operating boundary but have not yet been represented as a substitute for jurisdiction-specific review by qualified legal counsel.
01
Acceptance and scope
These terms govern access to and use of the Keelbase Signal website, editorial publications, discovery documents, free API routes, and x402-paid data products.
By accessing or using the service, a human user, application, agent, developer, or organization agrees to these terms and the separate Keelbase Signal Data License.
If you do not agree, do not access paid resources or continue using the service.
02
Product status
Keelbase Signal is an early-stage specialist intelligence and structured-data product. Features, prices, routes, schemas, publication frequency, and availability may change.
Fixture content is explicitly marked and must not be treated as real reporting, evidence, market activity, or product-demand validation.
03
Free and paid access
Free routes may be accessed without an account or payment. Paid routes use x402 exact USDC settlement on Base Mainnet and return protected content only after payment verification and successful settlement.
A completed payment purchases access to the particular protected response requested. It does not transfer ownership of Keelbase intellectual property or third-party source rights.
Except where required by applicable law or where Keelbase confirms a duplicate or technical settlement error, completed on-chain payments are final.
04
Permitted use
Use of Signal content and records is subject to the Keelbase Signal Data License.
- Use the service for lawful research, internal analysis, agent workflows, application features, and operational decision support.
- Preserve source links, evidence states, limitations, attribution, and correction lineage.
- Apply independent review before acting on legal, rights, financial, compliance, platform, or commercial matters.
05
Prohibited conduct
- Do not bypass, defeat, replay, manipulate, or interfere with payment verification, settlement, rate limits, or access controls.
- Do not introduce malicious code, abusive automation, denial-of-service traffic, or requests designed to impair the service.
- Do not use the service to violate law, third-party rights, contractual restrictions, platform rules, or privacy obligations.
- Do not represent fixture material, allegations, proposals, unresolved claims, or Keelbase analysis as confirmed external fact.
- Do not resell, bulk republish, redistribute, or create a competing data product except under a separate written agreement.
06
Sources and third-party rights
Keelbase Signal provides original summaries, normalization, classification, and analysis. Links to third-party sources are provided for provenance and verification.
Keelbase does not grant any licence to copied articles, publisher images, paywalled text, trademarks, audio, video, or other third-party material.
Users remain responsible for obtaining any third-party permissions required for their own use.
07
No professional advice or guarantee
Signal is an informational intelligence product. It is not legal, financial, investment, tax, accounting, compliance, rights-clearance, platform-eligibility, or other professional advice.
Keelbase does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, monetization, release acceptance, legal compliance, commercial success, or any specific outcome.
08
Availability and changes
Keelbase may correct, supersede, restrict, suspend, discontinue, or change any part of the service where necessary for security, accuracy, maintenance, legal compliance, product development, or operational reasons.
Material factual corrections follow the published corrections and supersession policy.
09
Responsibility and liability
Users are responsible for evaluating Signal outputs, checking current primary sources, applying appropriate professional review, and determining whether a use is lawful and suitable.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Keelbase is not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of or inability to use the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10
Updates
Keelbase may revise these terms. The effective date shown on this page identifies the current published version.
Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
